Yoga with Natasha Shakti

With 23 years of personal yoga practice and teaching since 2017, Natasha Shakti brings a wealth of experience and a genuine love for yoga to every class. Her journey has been shaped by studying with inspiring Ashtanga yoga teachers at Ananda Ashram and Sivananda Ashram, where she deepened her understanding of yoga’s rich traditions. Her passion for yoga shines through in her teaching, as she combines timeless wisdom with a fresh, approachable perspective. She believes yoga is for everyone and sees it as a pathway to not only physical health but also a more joyful, balanced life. Her warmth and enthusiasm make it easy to connect with her, both on and off the mat.

Approach to Yoga

Private yoga

One-to-one yoga sessions are a wonderful way to invest in yourself:

WHO DOES IT SUIT?
People who can’t fit a regular yoga class into their busy schedule.
– People who have injuries or illnesses that means they find a class environment that doesn’t meet their needs.
– People who want a class tailored to their individual needs. For example, hip flexibility, improving balance, reducing stress, post-natal nourishing, pregnancy yoga, and yoga for helping fertility.
– People who would like to develop a home practice but don’t know where to start.
– People who want to develop and deepen part of their practice that their usual class does not cover in detail, for example, breathing techniques, specific postures or meditation.
– People who want to nurture themselves with a one-to-one restorative yoga session.
– Small groups of friends, community groups or moms who would like a special yoga class just for them.

A private session allows for a more intimate view of YOUR practice. You can start a new practice, deepen your current practice or spend some time working with an injury or specific goal or concern. The sessions are tailored specifically to meet your individual needs, whatever they may be, and support you on to one. Taking a one-off, or a series of private yoga sessions, is an investment for your personal growth and health.

Benefits

Private

sessions

01 -
Improve Flexibility
  • Practice poses that stretch and strengthen muscles, improving overall physical fitness. Yoga’s focus on flexibility complements muscle strength by ensuring that muscles remain supple and elongated, reducing the risk of injury and promoting a full range of motion.
02 -
Muscles Strength
  • Yoga poses use your own body weight as resistance, which challenges and strengthens muscles without the need for external weights. For example, poses like Plank, Chaturanga, and Chair Pose engage the core, arms, and legs to support the body.
03 -
Perfects Posture
  • Yoga improves posture by enhancing body awareness, strengthening core muscles, and promoting flexibility and alignment.
Yoga encourages mindful movement and a deeper connection with the body, helping you become more aware of how you carry yourself.
04 -
Increase Blood-Flow
  • Yoga increases blood flow through physical postures, breath work, and relaxation techniques that promote circulation and enhance cardiovascular function.
Yoga sequences that involve flowing movements, such as Vinyasa, help increase heart rate and circulation, ensuring that oxygen-rich blood is efficiently delivered to muscles and organs.
